About Early Years Expertise

Hello Everyone, my name is Maddie, an early childhood advocate, educator, and career nanny with over 14 years of hands-on experience supporting children from birth through the early years.

My work began in family homes, where I saw firsthand how much parents, nannies, caregivers, and educators are expected to understand, often without clear, practical guidance. Early childhood is one of the most important stages of life, yet the adults supporting young children are too often left piecing information together on their own.

That’s why I created Early Years Expertise: a trusted learning space for parents, nannies, caregivers, educators, agencies, and early childhood programs who want practical, evidence-based support that goes deeper than surface-level advice.

At its heart, this work is about raising the standard of early care. Whether you are a parent trying to better understand your child, a nanny building your professional confidence, an educator supporting children in a classroom, or a program looking to strengthen staff practice, Early Years Expertise is designed to make child development knowledge clear, usable, and meaningful.

Through thoughtfully designed courses and resources, we cover developmental milestones, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, learning, care routines, safety, communication, and best practices across the early years — helping the adults around children feel more prepared, consistent, and confident.

Every child deserves high-quality care. Every adult supporting a child deserves access to the knowledge and tools to provide it.

Let’s raise the standard of early care together — at home, in childcare, and across early learning environments.

Our mission is to make practical early childhood knowledge accessible to the adults and programs children rely on every day. Helping raise the standard of care from homes to classrooms.
